SealingPro is APT Medical's Y-connector (rotating hemostatic valve) for catheter-based interventions. The Y-shaped body lets guidewires, balloons, and stents pass through a sealing valve that limits blood loss and air ingress, while the side-arm port supports continuous flushing and contrast injection. It is commonly paired with an insertion tool and torque device to ease repeated device exchanges.
Clinical applications
Connects to a guiding catheter or sheath during coronary and peripheral interventions, maintaining hemostasis around an indwelling guidewire or device while permitting simultaneous contrast injection, pressure monitoring, or flushing through the side arm.
