Braidin is a thin-wall radial introducer sheath built on a braided metal-mesh structure that delivers a smaller outer diameter without sacrificing kink resistance. A smooth tapered transition and distal hydrophilic coating ease insertion and reduce puncture-site trauma, while an improved hemostatic valve minimizes back-bleeding and air aspiration. The range spans 4F through 9F and includes the low-profile Braidin and the Braidin L.
Clinical applications
Provides arterial access and hemostasis for transradial and distal (snuffbox) radial interventions, supporting a thin-wall, low-profile approach that can accommodate larger-French coronary and peripheral devices — including complex CTO procedures — while lowering access-site complications relative to a transfemoral approach.
