The Expressman Guiding Extension Catheter provides deep coaxial support for complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). A nitinol shaft and metal-mesh braided layer combine kink resistance with pushability, a soft radiopaque tip and hydrophilic coating ease atraumatic delivery, and a 35 cm rapid-exchange segment facilitates stent and balloon delivery across long or tortuous lesions. A distinctive four-side-hole design near the tip maintains antegrade blood flow when the catheter is deeply seated. Available in French sizes from 4F to 6F with matched guide-catheter compatibility.
Clinical applications
Extends and reinforces the guiding catheter to improve backup support and device deliverability when crossing complex, calcified, tortuous, or chronic total occlusion (CTO) lesions during PCI, including deep intubation of diffuse or distal coronary arteries while preserving distal perfusion.
