The TLAB® Liver Biopsy System is a transjugular (and transvenous) liver biopsy platform designed to obtain high-quality liver samples via a venous approach. A Tru-Track trocar tip and fully exposed sample notch support a straight needle trajectory and generous sample yield, while patented Flexcore technology and interchangeable straight and curved catheters help navigate individual patient anatomy. Sets include an 18G or 19G needle with sheath and metal stiffener, catheters, swab sticks, and a bending tool.
Clinical applications
Transjugular liver biopsy in patients who cannot safely undergo percutaneous biopsy, such as those with coagulopathy, ascites, or a small cirrhotic liver, accessing the hepatic vein through the jugular vein under fluoroscopic guidance. The curved catheter aids navigation in complex anatomy.
