Devices such as the BioPince Ultra full-core instrument, the SuperCore and Tru-Core biopsy guns, and the Pro-Mag automatic systems are engineered to harvest intact, diagnostic-quality tissue cores while limiting crush artifact and fragmentation. The range spans multiple gauges, throw lengths, and needle lengths, with echogenic tips and coaxial options to suit percutaneous sampling across organs.
Clinical applications
Percutaneous core-needle sampling of soft-tissue targets such as liver, kidney, breast, lung, prostate, and lymph nodes, typically under ultrasound or CT guidance. Coaxial introducers allow multiple passes through a single access, and fine-needle aspiration options support cytology.
