RADPAD interventional radiation protection shields are sterile, single-use, lead-free and non-vinyl scatter-attenuating pads that reduce operator and staff exposure during fluoroscopically guided procedures. Clinically proven and offered in protection levels from 50% up to 95% (at 90 kVp), models such as the 5100A Interventional Specialty Shield and the 5110A Peripheral Shield integrate into the sterile field without adding operator burden or compromising technique.
Clinical applications
Reduction of operator and staff scatter radiation dose across general and peripheral fluoroscopically guided interventional procedures, in support of the ALARA principle.
