The ChibaSono is PAJUNK's echogenic fine-needle system engineered for ultrasound-guided procedures. Patented 360° Cornerstone reflectors along the distal shaft keep the needle shaft and tip clearly visible regardless of insertion angle — over a 20 mm length — so the operator can focus on the tip during placement. Available with a beveled tip or a special ultrasound tip with a round, set-back blunt stylet, and featuring a color-coded hub, flush-ground stylet, retaining clip, and optional depth stop and centimeter markings.
Clinical applications
Ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration and biopsy for cytology, percutaneous cholangiography, fluid sampling, and general percutaneous access; also indicated for prenatal (obstetric) diagnostic punctures such as amniocentesis.
