The Centeze is an over-the-needle catheter system designed to simplify centesis procedures, featuring three large skived holes for maximum drainage and reduced clogging, a tapered tip with a smooth transition, and a siliconized catheter for easy insertion. An echogenic needle with a bevel indicator supports ultrasound visibility, and a clear needle hub confirms flashback. The range spans 4Fr to 6Fr catheters in 7, 10, and 15cm lengths.

Percutaneous aspiration and drainage of fluid collections in centesis procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis, using a direct over-the-needle stick technique under ultrasound guidance.
