Galt's Tearaway (peel-away) Introducer Sets and Kits combine an ergonomic patented locking hub, a unique wing design, and a funnel lead-in with a smooth dilator-to-sheath transition for reliable, consistent access. The range spans 4F to 16F, including half-sizes, in 14, 30, 44, and 50cm lengths, with dedicated Micro-Access/MST sets in 3-10cm lengths and the GaltVTI line adding an integrated low-insertion-force hemostasis valve to reduce blood loss and air embolism. Available as complete kits or individual sheath-and-dilator sets.
Clinical applications
Percutaneous introduction and placement of catheters, leads, and other indwelling devices, where the peel-away sheath is split and removed once the device is positioned; valved versions help control back-bleeding and air entry during insertion.
