The Bengal Radial Compression Band achieves hemostasis after transradial procedures through a mechanical, syringe-free design that offers direct manual control of compression. One universal, adjustable band uses fine notches for micro-adjustment and a locking mechanism to prevent dislodgement, while a transparent polymer and proprietary gel pad allow clear visualization of the access site and patient comfort. Its contoured pad delivers direct pressure on the arteriotomy with secondary distal and proximal pressure to help prevent hematoma, and an angled structure shields the ulnar nerve and artery; a removable, side-selectable adaptor accommodates right or left access and very small wrists.
Clinical applications
Applied to the wrist after transradial catheterization to compress the radial arteriotomy and achieve hemostasis, with graduated adjustment supporting patent hemostasis. Supplied with an adaptor and sterile gauze pad; no syringe or additional gauze is required.
